Conner Tingley commemorates this collaboration to his youth growing up in Los Angeles. Using his favorite 1923 Waterman fountain pen, he decided to resign the iconic Vans checkerboard pattern print that signifies togetherness. His approach was meant to simulate sketchy blotches of ink stains dripping down to the vulcanized soles and truly capturing the essence of Vans history.
