Saint Alfred welcomes Sanjana this weekend for the 11th edition of Rebel Music Studio.
Sanjana Elina is a Chicago-based DJ and photographer whose work explores how we move through the world when sight and sound aren’t always reliable. Born deaf in one ear and blind in one eye, she approaches both music and image-making through instinct, emotion, and close observation.
Her DJ sets draw on textured synths, deep rhythms, and a sense of atmosphere, while her photography focuses on capturing the raw energy of underground culture, music, and fashion as it naturally unfolds.
Through both mediums, Sanjana’s work is rooted in presence and perception—tuning into the rhythms that are felt as much as they are seen or heard.
