Saint Alfred is proud to release a capsule collection of Tony Fitzpatrick-designed apparel and accessories on Friday, December 16th, 2016 with a special in-store signing with the artist 5:30 - 6:30 pm.
Saint Alfred values the work of Fitzpatrick, a Chicago-based fine artist, writer, playwright, and actor. His art and design contributions to the local landscape are unparalleled, and Saint Alfred is honored to recognize Fitzpatrick among its supporters.
The collaborative collection harnesses Fitzpatrick's signature style, his attention to typography and signage, and his love for birds. Each piece was hand-selected by Fitzpatrick with the guidance of Saint Alfred's designers to develop an aesthetic that represents the artist's sensibilities and the brand's commitment to timeless design. The collection will be available exclusively at Saint Alfred (1531 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60622) and on saintalfred.com with select proceeds to benefit the La Bagh Forest Restoration (Chicago Ornithological Society) and Young Chicago
To celebrate the collaboration, Saint Alfred's staff will exhibit original art alongside Fitzpatrick's work at "Car Town", an exhibition at Adventureland Gallery (1513 North Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60622). The opening reception took place on December 9th and featured a pop-up shop with select pieces from the collection. Though diverse in background and artistic discipline, the Saint Alfred staff share a love for local culture. With a charge to celebrate the City of Chicago, Saint Alfred will present a unique and intimate narrative of the place it calls home.
