As part of the 35th anniversary celebration of the Air Jordan 5, JORDAN brings back one of its rarest creations: the Air Jordan 5 "Tokyo."

First released in 2011 to commemorate the opening of the JORDAN Tokyo 23 store, the original drop was limited to an exclusive location and extremely few pairs — instantly elevating it into legend status. For 2025, both longtime collectors and a new generation of fans will have another chance to secure this iconic style.

To honor its origins, our team visited Chicago’s Jackson Park and the Osaka Garden, a site originally built as the centerpiece of Japan’s presence during the 1893 World’s Fair. Today, the garden remains a living symbol of the cultural bridge between Japan and the United States, providing the perfect backdrop for this Japan-exclusive retro.
